While we are waiting on the information regarding the portable Maker space grant:
- I will arrange a meeting with Tyler so you can see the Maker space at the EERB
- I can show you the public art project David and I are doing this week
- Post answers to questions below on a new post- not comment box. Simply copy and paste the questions and post with answers in your own post as we do for the sculptural practices class. We really only comment when you students are commenting to each other- so I apologize I didn't see and respond to your answers earlier. Label each post with the week's work.
- What will you be doing in your new job over there?
- Post sketches of the furniture piece you would like to pursue. Include materials and dimensions. Sketch by hand and place in illustrator document with text and dimensions. work on presenting your designs professionally.
- Make of list of computer skills, jobs you are interested in currently ( including jobs outside of graphics).
- Begin to build in sketchup and post screen shots of your progress each week. **Create a time log into your posts regarding how long it is taking you to model in sketchup each time. Be specific.
EXAMPLE:
June 26.
1-2pm sketched table plans- images and dimensions
2-3pm. watched linked in learning video of basic shape making in Sketchup
3-4pm began line work outlining the basic shape of table.
