1st Assignment Response

 

•  I will arrange a meeting with Tyler so you can see the Maker space at the EERB
•  I can show you the public art project David and I are doing this week

Hey Ashley! I would love to see the EERB and view the public art piece. My schedule at EIC Building is every weekday morning from 7:30 Am to 11:30 Am. On Friday I get out an hour earlier. I also have started class for my Foundations 3D course which start at 1:35 PM to 3:00 PM every Monday and Thursday. 

I could easily after work take a lunch break at Einstein Bagels and head to the EERB over at 1 PM on days I don't have class, since the building I work at is just across the street. 

• What will you be doing in your new job over there?

My new Job consists of targeting students outside of the Energy field, such as myself, with engaging visuals and information about the program. I have also taken up the task of learning photography and videography with their tools. 

• Post sketches of the furniture piece you would like to pursue. Include materials and dimensions. Sketch by hand and place in illustrator document with text and dimensions. work on presenting your designs professionally.

Have started thinking about ideas and will post them ASAP.

• Make of list of computer skills, jobs you are interested in currently ( including jobs outside of graphics).

I am interested in videography and animation as a hobby. Creating a moving piece of work that an audience can consume in a short amount of time and not swipe away, but be forced to watch, is something I feel may not only help me in marketing, but in whatever field I end up in. To be able to catch a humans attention for whatever message you have to promote is extremely interesting to me. These computer programs may include; After Effects, Premier Pro, Adobe Animate and the course marketing psychology. I also like creating physcial art that a viewer can interact with physically(like the rugs). I would love to maybe one day create my own studio that I can work on multiple different projects that I am interested in pursuing, so I would have to learn more about business.

• Begin to build in sketchup and post screen shots of your progress each week.  **Create a time log into your posts regarding how long it is taking you to model in sketchup each time. Be specific.  

I have downloaded sketch up and viewed the linkedIN site, but have been really busy all summer and not really worked in SKetch up yet, but will start logging my time sometime this week! I saw some tutorials on youtube I want to try out as well.
